Granola

Happy New Year everyone! I wish everyone a great start in 2013. For me, it was not a very good start at all :( I got diarrea for the first week of 2013. Hope I’ll feel better soon. It has been a long time since my last post because of all my busy school work! It’s gonna be even more crazier in the next semester, but I hope to keep posting my work up here as my new goal in 2013 :D This homemade granola saves me a lot of money, plus it is a great healthy snack!

Ingredients

3 cups of regular rolled oats

1 cup shredded apple

1 sliced banana

1/4 cup of honey/syrup

1/4 cup water

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

Granola

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, apple. Mix well
  2. Add in water, honey, cinnamon and vanilla extract into bowl. Mix well.
  3. Spray the baking pan with nonstick coating. Spread oat mixture evenly in pan.
  4. Bake in a 325 F oven about 45 minutes. Stir every 10 mins.
  5. Let cool and it’s ready!

I went on a Christmas trip to The Big Island and it was so fun :D The landscape is gorgeous over there! Heavenly Father’s work is truly amazing!

Last Friday Night, me and my friend went to the movie and watched Batman (FINALLY!), then we headed to the science museum and had a lovely dinner :D We had a rice pizza and it was… well…not bad, but not very surprising either.
