Happy New Year everyone! I wish everyone a great start in 2013. For me, it was not a very good start at all :( I got diarrea for the first week of 2013. Hope I’ll feel better soon. It has been a long time since my last post because of all my busy school work! It’s gonna be even more crazier in the next semester, but I hope to keep posting my work up here as my new goal in 2013 :D This homemade granola saves me a lot of money, plus it is a great healthy snack!
3 cups of regular rolled oats
1 cup shredded apple
1 sliced banana
1/4 cup of honey/syrup
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, apple. Mix well
- Add in water, honey, cinnamon and vanilla extract into bowl. Mix well.
- Spray the baking pan with nonstick coating. Spread oat mixture evenly in pan.
- Bake in a 325 F oven about 45 minutes. Stir every 10 mins.
- Let cool and it’s ready!
I went on a Christmas trip to The Big Island and it was so fun :D The landscape is gorgeous over there! Heavenly Father’s work is truly amazing!
